The successful candidate will provide first line helpdesk support to clients, diagnosing problems, repairing and maintaining computer hardware and systems.

The right candidate will be looking to use this role as a stepping stone to becoming a Network Engineer with the ability to install and maintain computer and telephone systems.
Upon satisfactory completion of the course, you may progress to IT Support Technician / Network Engineer, 2nd Line, 3rd Line and Field engineer.
Daily working hours:
Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:30 with 1 hour for lunch.
There may be odd day where the candidate is required to either arrive slightly earlier (and leaver earlier) or arrive later (and leave later). E.g. 08:30 – 17:00
It is also required to have 1 Day release to attend MidKent College as part of the Apprenticeship.
The expected course duration is 15 months and you will be studying for ‘Level 2 IT Application Specialist’.
5 GCSEs at A*-D, including English and Maths, or equivalent.
Other Important Information:
From 1st April 2017 The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
