We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Desktop Engineer to join our team in the Investment Management sector. This contract role will provide the opportunity to lead and enhance our desktop engineering initiatives while ensuring a smooth user experience across our investment platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the desktop engineering team, providing guidance and overseeing technical projects.
• Implement and maintain desktop environments tailored for the Investment Management sector.
• Work closely with IT operations and support teams to resolve complex issues.
• Ensure desktop standards are met and optimized for high performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and integrate new technologies.
• Provide training and support for junior engineers and helpdesk staff.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in a Lead Desktop Engineer role.
• Strong knowledge of Investment Management operations and technology.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage teams effectively.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Familiarity with desktop virtualization and management tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation:

The role offers overtime pay at a rate of time and a half (t x 1.5).
