The surprising thing is that it’s rarely what candidates say that sinks them. It’s what they do: dressing inappropriately, sitting on the floor for a video interview, asking for adjustments and then not turning up, or letting the pets do the talking. And the one nobody recovers from? Talking down the job or rubbishing the recruiter.
